'#USAfricaBizSummit2024 Convenes in Dallas'

World leaders and top business excutives are currently gathering in Dallas in the U.S. state of Texas for the 16th edition of the U.S.-Africa Business Summit being hosted by the Corporate Council on Africa. The annual event explores Africa growing business potential and how it can be leveraged by American investors and those from other parts of the world.

The U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield leads the American delegation to the summit, which brings together more than 1,500 public and private sector leaders including Heads of State, international investors, U.S. and African government officials, and multilateral stakeholders.

The four-day gathering includes participation by a number of African heads of government and other senior government leaders, as well as representatives for corporations large and small.

Under the theme "U.S.-Africa Business: Partnering for Sustainable Success," the Summit promises to be a pivotal moment for forging stronger ties between the United States and Africa, driving economic growth and fostering collaboration.
