ZIMBABWE's main political parties - which begin power-sharing talks in Pretoria today - are expected to reach a final settlement promptly as they have already agreed on a wide range of issues on the agenda.
Yaaah Baasi! All good ideas come from your small RACIST, meddling and non-kaffir brains. Yes baasi! there should NEVER peace in Great Zimbabwe unless approved by your non-afrikan, patronising brains which believe that David Livingstone discovered the Motsi wa Tunya on the Zambezi river. OOooh BAASI chabwino baasi!!!!
Geez Aka, the guys praising black africans for taking a stand against leaders who beat, maim and torture there own people to keep power. And you call him a racist? Not sure what logic you are keeping there my friend. I think you need to change your mindset that all white people are the enemy of africa. Some of us want to help.
Yaa BAASI! As l said in one of my posts that honestly some of my best friends are white. l love white people, especially those who do not impose themselves on Africa ... the missionary type, like your good self. The type that NEVER allow an African decide things for himself and wallow in his mess and allow him to figure out how to get out of his African mess. Can you tell me why the white NGO flood any space of the earth that is run by Africans ..eg.. Haiti, Zimbabwe etc??? No NGOs were a force in apartheid RSA but the moment a Black administration took over and WALLA!! the White NGOs swapped the country before you can say Nelson!!!! By the way l do not mind any Zimbabwean being the president of Great Zim ... that includes Biti/Chamisa/Tsvangirai. Awa Vana Wevu!!! Lets learn to live politics to the politicians like they do in western Europe and North America. The balloon comes down every 4 or 5 years .......as George Bernard SHAW would have said. LOVE YOU darlings
Aka,
A couple of points.
You say you dont like "The type that NEVER allow an African decide things for himself" Surely by this you must mean Mugabe for failing to deliver a free and fair election and thus allow the people of Zimbabwe to be heard? As for NGO's flood places run by africans, as these are the places that need help. They dont flood australia or new zealand or europe because people there can feed themselves. Africas as a result of droughts and bad governance and wars cannot. Just ask yourself the number of mulnourished people in Africa v the rest of the world.

Oh! What a human tragedy should people go along your much devalued opinion?
By making such statements you are giving Mugabe a renewed hope to cling to power illegitimately. At least you should show respect to those valiant freedom fighters who gave their life for you to be able to continue to survive. At the same time should you not pin down Mugabe for his ferocious attacks against innocent citizens, you may count yourself as a potential target unless you cowardly sing his praise even when you witness the killing, maiming and raping of your wife, daughter or sister!!
Peace be on you.
Are you blind or something? how many people did Odinga kill in Kenya? His hands are filthy and dripping with innocent blood and you support him.Hippocrites....
I have to give it to Mugabe, he is one clever dude. He will remain in power until he dies, eventually share power with the MDC, burnish his reputation with the masses as a guy who can stand up to whites, the west and all sorts of pressure and say that he only negotiated on his own terms. Whatever, you think about Mugabe you got to admit he a pretty shrewd character. Too bad he didn't use that shrewdness for the greater good. With these negotaitions though I can't help to feel for the people who died in the run-up to the election and the people who were beaten. The MDC should not forgt them and if Mugabe does not end up in jail, the thugs who perpertrated the crimes, at least, should be held accountable. Otherwise, it will be a sore that will fester.
I listened to the Kenyan PM yesterday on the CNN. I bet his interview was censored within Zimbabwe!
He is a politician of a new generation who has dumped the much decried AU policy until recently of non-interference in other countries so-called internal affairs. Leaders like him and those of Liberia, Zambia, Senegal and the ANC President currently form a core of African leaders who will assist African citizens get rid of maverick bloodstained dictators like Mugabe. They are igniting hope that genuine freedom in Africa will not a vain word.
A decent way out to the hero turned bloodstained illegitimate President, as aired by Kenyan PM Odinga, would be to just turn him into a mere ceremonious non-exec President. That would be even very hard to swallow by Zimbabweans who have been victims of killings, maiming and rape.
A monument should be erected in front of the Zimbabwe parliament in honour of those who dared to put up against the ferocious resistance of Mugabe and cronies to stop the wheel of progress.
However, no clean transition can take place without showing the door to the infamous Commissioner of Police and the chiefs of the Army's various units.
