Reef Doctor is a British-based conservation NGO that works only in the Ranobe area. We do scientific research, environmental education, and marine conservation backed by a strong volunteer program.

FIMIHARA was created by Reef Doctor in 2006, and while very much independant, is still a very close partner and collaborator. Together, FIMIHARA and Reef Doctor hope to achieve an additional 2 marine parks and up to 6 octopus reserves in the Bay or Ranobe by early 2009.
