Nimule, a Southern Sudanese town on the border with Uganda, has boomed since war ended three years ago, but tension is brewing over land between returnees who fled the area years ago and more recent settlers.

I am Sudanese from a Zande tribe, I feel really sorry for the Madi people because of the pain and suffering which they are going through now. it is not only us and the Madi people who are going to suffer from the dinka people, but my fear is that this tension is going to create anther ethnic trouble in Sudan if the Sudanese leaders do not take action against the evil attitude of the dinka tribe people. When did they sign the peace agreement in Sudan? I think that was in 2005 and it has been almost 4 years now, dinka people should look at this peace agreement as way of re-developing their areas and civilizing their people not invading other people’s land. We can not build peace and develop Sudan with barbarian mentality. This kind of ethnic war and vengeance ruins people life and the future of the next generations. Therefore, it is a time to stop this irresponsible attitude!!!
