Tanzania: Domestic Tourists Yet to Be Considered in Park Fee Hike Proposal

Arusha — As the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) plans to hike entrance fees to two hot-spot destinations of Serengeti and Mount Kilimanjaro, it is still not known how domestic tourists will be considered in the final outcome.

The new gate charges proposal for the two parks, has been submitted to the Minister responsible for Natural resources and Tourism for considerations and reliable sources from the Ministry said the proposal will be brought back to Arusha and tabled before Tourism stakeholders.
