Zimbabwe international striker Takesure Chinyama struck twice to take his season's tally to 12 goals on Wednesday night as Legia Warsaw beat Polonia Bytom 2-0 in midweek action in Poland.

He becomes the third highest scoring Zimbabwe international in foreign leagues. Manchester City' Benjani Mwaruwari has 13 goals and Eddie Mashinya has scored 15 in the Cypriot Second Division. Chinyama, an underrated former Hwange and Monomotapa striker, has been called up by Warriors coach Valinhos for a proposed international friendly match on 26 March ahead of the start of the 2010 World Cup and Nations Cup qualifiers at the end of May.

The striker, who turns 26 in September, came in as substitute in the 46th minute replacing Bartlomiej Grzelak and struck twice in the 75th minute and the 90th minute to ensure that Legia maintain second spot with 37 points, a massive 11 off leaders Wieslaw.
