The bilateral cooperation in the Navy field between Angola and the Republic of Congo is "very positive", in the opinion of the commander of this sector of that country, Captain of sea and war Bouania Bea André, ANGOP learnt this weekend.

The top Congolese navy officer was in the country, where he attended in Ambriz district, northern Bengo province, the closing ceremony of a course of Navy Seals, which lasted eight months, which also counted on the participation of navy officers of his country.

The foreign militaries shall be in charge of trained Congolese troops in the field of Navy Seals.

According to Bouania André, the teaching level is "very acceptable" and henceforth the officers shall be ready to show and transmit to their colleagues everything they learnt.

Questioned to speak about the organisational level of Angolan navy seals and of the Angolan Navy, he said he was very impressed with what he witnessed at units of this sector.

The Congolese officer also attended the main event that marked the 32nd founding anniversary of the Angolan Navy, celebrated last July 10.
