The director of the Olympic Solidarity Programme Pere Miro will attend a meeting of African Olympic Committee general secretaries in Uganda, in November.

Uganda Olympic Committee president Maj. Gen. Francis Nyangweso yesterday said that Miro will address the conference November 24-29 at the Imperial Royale Hotel, on the

Solidarity programmes. These include talent identification and training which will benefit Africa in the next four years.

"He is not the only one. We also expect the organisers of both the Beijing Olympic Games and London 2012 Olympics to be around. We are not yet sure whether the bidding city for 2016 will be around to make their presentation though," Nyangweso remarked.
