THE Kenya High Commission will host a trade fair and conference at the Sandton Convention Centre from September 19 to 21. The initiative is aimed at creating a platform for business linkages between South African and Kenyan businesses through expanded trade and business development opportunities.

Last year the Kenyan government launched vision 2030, which aims to transform Kenya into a middle income country, aiming to maintain a sustained economic growth rate of 10%.

More than 200 exhibitors will display products and services around textiles and apparel, tourism, art and craft, chemical and leather products, food and agricultural products, paper, plastics and rubber, timber and wood, mining, banking, transport, insurance, and property development.
