Women under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Women Association in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have lamented their being marginalised from the party activities since 2003.

The women who spoke with LEADERSHIP under the condition of anonymity, said they have worked meritoriously to the growth and victory of the party in the FCT, but have being sidelined in the time of reaping what they sowed.

According to one of the women leaders in AMAC, the little compensation accorded to them by way of contracts, have been stopped as most of the councillors now execute the contracts themselves.

She further explained that, in the cause of ensuring victory to PDP, they trod on toes and could not benefit from such people and the only hope they have -PDP, is now disappointing them.
