In the absence of striker, Kei Kamara and left-full back Gibrilla Woobay, due to yellow cards suspension, five new faces are expected to join the national team as they face Equatorial Guinea for the second leg of the 2010 World/Nations Cup qualifier.

Sahr Sensei, Gibril Sankoh from Holland, Manni William in England and Norway-based Lennox Kanu and Alfred Zagalo, are expected to join the Leone Stars.

According to Coach Kanu, he is still awaiting final approval from Manni William, Gibril Sankoh and Sahr Sensei to join the team but their names have been included in the list of the team that would tackle the Nzalang National (Equatorial Guinea) come September.

"I have discussed and submitted the names of the invited players to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and they are now working on sending their tickets for their early arrival," Coach Kanu said.

Leone Stars are expected to face the Nzalang National on 5-6 September 2008 in Freetown and Coach Kanu told Concord Sports that the match is a must-win for him and his team.

"I need to get all three points from this encounter in order for us to be in a comfortable position in our group as we are at level points with South Africa which will be hosting group leader, Nigeria," he said.
