Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos will this Wednesday inaugurate in Kabiri commune, northern Bengo province, the "Water for All" project, an initiative of the central government that was approved last June, ANGOP learnt.

The project aims at achieving, by 2012, the desired levels of water supply to the rural population, in an average of 80 percent.

It is being co-ordinated by an inter-provincial commission comprising the Ministries of Energy and Waters (co-ordinator), Territory Administration, Health, Agriculture and Rural Development and Secretariat of the Cabinet Council.

Provincial governments are responsible for the implementation of the project.
