The political personality of engineer José Eduardo dos Santos will be the main topic at the round-table, scheduled for next Thursday, 28 August, at the Union of the Angolan Writers (UEA), as part of the celebrations of his 66th anniversary.

With lecturers António Panguila and Mário Pinto de Andrade, the event serves to pay homage to the Angolan head of State, for the wise and harmonious way he leads the Angolan motherland's destinies.

The meeting will bring together representatives from various political parties and of religious institutions, government members, candidates to MP, university students and others.

Born in Luanda, on 28 August, 1942, the engineer José Eduardo dos Santos became President of the Republic of Angola in September 1979.
