The new management board of the Provincial Basketball Association of Luanda (APBL), elected last August 19, shall be sworn in this Thursday, here, for the 2009/2012 quadrennial period.
The ceremony will be held at the Mission Hall, in Coqueiros ward, under the guidance of the voting commission, and shall be attended by representatives of the provincial department of the Youth and Sports Ministry.
Maria da Conceição Sampaio Pedro will replace António Clemente Júnior as the new director.
The newly appointed director played basketball for the Angolan 1º de Agosto, Petro de Luanda and Ferroviário clubs, of the country's capital.
