Is Morris a victim of jealousy, hate, his introverted character or barmy housemates? The Ugandan representative in M-Net's reality show was nominated by a whooping five contestants, and by the time we went to press, Morris's fate (whether he was to be evicted or not) was not yet known, but clearly there is something amiss between him and his housemates.
But is it his own undoing, or are the housemates just out to get him-no matter what?
Three out of the five housemates who nominated Morris, happened to be women - Lucille, Mimi and Sheila. Out of the three women, one actually declared she fancies Morris (Mimi), the other declared she is a tomboy and fancies women (Sheila. Yeah, she is freaky like that), and the other doesn't know which of the boys she fancies (Lucille). So why on earth did these females nominate our boy? Is it out of spite, or is it that stereotypical excuse; women are just confused, and never know what they want?
The 27-year-old Mimi nominated Morris, because she claimed she wasn't "feeling him". She claimed that Morris likes to stick to himself, an accusation which has some truth to it (sometimes Morris and Hazel appear such loners in that house) but what I find perplexing is her behaviour towards him. If she really dislikes him that much, why has she declared to her fellow housemates that she fancies Morris, and on two occasions invited him to share her bed with him? Could this be a case of not knowing what you want?
Sheila, who has come to be known as the blubber mouth, for her amazing ability of never knowing when to shut up, has described herself to the housemates as a tomboy. And true to her description, the girl swears like a sailor, drinks like a fish and has declared her feelings for the Namibian Lucille! (Archbishop Orombi would have something to say about that). But why would a heavy drinking, swearing, "lesbian in the closet" nominate of all the men in the house - Morris? Could there be a deep seated hatred for the Ugandan?
As for Lucille, another of those female "Morris Haters", her own love triangle in the house is as interesting as the NSSF scandal! In the last two weeks, she has already flirted, with Munya, Uti, Ricco and TK. All those separately think Lucille is their girl, and let us not forget Sheila who too has joined the group of Lucille admirers. Lucille meanwhile is just basking in the attention, saying that she is "not sure" who she fancies! But one thing she is sure of is the lack of interest Morris has shown her, so could that alone have vexed Miss Attention Seeker into nominating Morris?
As for the two boys who nominated the Ugandan - that is Ricco and TK, the Angolan Ricco happens to a "player extraordinaire". The 21-year-old flirts with Mimi, Hazel, Lucille, and at the end of the day shares a bed with Latoya, who happens to also fancy Morris, but like all true players, they hate competition, and Morris is Ricco's competition when it comes to Latoya, hence the nomination.
TK meanwhile just doesn't get on with Morris, its just one of those unexplainable things. The positive thing about those nominations is that they are not real. Morris however should watch out for those women in the house, they could give him headaches, and at worst cause his downfall!
