Keren
As part of efforts to increase the number of public phones in Keren town, additional public phones have been put in place in different streets of the town, according to Mr. Abraham Habte, Head of ERI-TEL in Anseba region.
He stated that the move is aimed at meeting the demand of the growing number of residents and expansion of the town. He pointed out that the branch office has offered skill upgrading training so as to effectively repair any possible malfunction of the booths.
Reports indicated that previously public phones were only limited in the down town and as a result the residents used to encounter delays in accessing the service.

This piece on additional phone booths for Keren city is interesting. But it would have been more informative if the reader was told how many booths were added and how many already existed. One may also be keen to know the size of Keren in terms of nubmer of residents and how many land and mobile phones are available in the city. AllAfrica.com should set some standards on the type and quality of stories it publishes.
