Members of the Eritrean Community in Port Sudan city formed a club in order to facilitate discussion on developments in the Homeland, as well as entertainment programs.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Eritrean Ambassador to Sudan, Mr. Issa Ahmed Issa, stated that the club would create conducive ground for the nationals in discussing developments in the Homeland and reinforcing national unity, as well as upgrading the skills of youths through organizing different educational programs. He further expressed conviction that the initiative would provide additional impetus to the growing ties between Eritrea and Sudan.

Likewise, Mr. Andeberhan Berhe, Advisor of the Eritrean Embassy in Sudan, commended Eritrean citizens living in that country for making due contribution in the nation-building process, in continuation of the dedication they demonstrated during the struggle for independence.

Reports indicated that the club which is equipped with internet service would offer different training aimed at upgrading the potentials of youths. A cultural troupe from Asmara staged musical performance on the occasion.
