Preparations for the 2009 World Congress of the Junior Chamber International, due to take place in Tunis on November 15- 21, 2009, were under focus as Mr Samir Labidi , the Minister of Youth, Sports and Physical Education, met on Thursday with the members of the executive committee of the Tunisian Junior Chamber, led by its chairman , Mr Nabil Salem Dakhli.

Ways of boosting the partnership between the Chamber and the Ministry were also examined, with a view to reinforcing associative action.

Mr Labidi expressed his satisfaction at the role played by the Tunisian Junior Chamber in instilling the spirit of initiative and volunteer work within young people.

The 2009 World Congress of the Junior Chamber International organized in Tunisia for the first time, will witness the participation of representatives from 123 countries.
