Tunisia: President Ben Ali Receives Messages of Congratulations on the Occasion of Eid El Fitr

On the occasion of Eid El Fitr, marking the end of the month of Ramadan, President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali received congratulatory messages from the Heads of States of Arab and Islamic countries, wishing him further success, and further progress and prosperity to the Tunisian people.

The messages came from Libya's Leader Mouamar Kadhafi, Algeria's President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak, Syria's President Bachar El Assad, the President of the State of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed Al -Nahyan, King Abdallah II of Jordan, Emir Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

President Ben Ali also received a message of congratulations from President Georges W. Bush, in which the American President expresses to the Head of State his feelings of friendship and his best wishes and further progress and prosperity to the Tunisian people.
