Young people all over the world have been called upon to identify their hidden potentialities and work towards developing them.

Speaking during the weekend at the end of a two-day youth rally organised by Glorious Church Assembly, Durumi, Area one district of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the guest speaker, Evangelist Levinus Akalla, disclosed that God has embedded wonderful talents in every human being He created. According to him, that several poeple have died without discovering and making use of the gift of God in them. He blamed the bad economy of the nation and the federal government for not having the interest of the people at heart as in other developed countries.

Akalla, however, called on the youths to emulate their counterparts who inspite of family backgrounds, economy and educational qualifications were determined to make a difference in their society.

"Your destiny is in your hands and God has charged you with the responsibility of making adequate use of what he has given to you. A lot of youths have made a difference inspite of overwhelming situation around them. So, you are expected to see such youths as your role models and take a decision to make a difference in your generation and the skies will not be your limit", he said.

Evangelist Akalla regretted that many youths have been misled by politicians who keep their own children in safety and use the youth for political thugs and other social vices, warning the youths to desist from being used by politicians who will not remember them when they come to power.

He told the youths to take their education seriously and shun secret cults and other immoral actitivities, urging them to always remember their role in the society as leaders of tomorrow.
