THE orphans and neglected children of Kankobe Orphanage Home, in Mpigi district, have released a musical album.

The album is part of the celebrations to mark the golden jubilee of the Child Welfare and Adoption Society of the Catholic Church, which operates their centre.

The album, Tubasonyiye has five songs, which highlight the plight of neglected children. The title-track Tubasonyiye, scorns irresponsible parents who neglect their children. Others are Mazima Kiki, Tweyanzizza, Muli Mikwano Gyaffe and an English anthem.

Rev. Sr. Frances Mboire, a former director of the Child Welfare and Adoption Society wrote the songs.
