Nigeria's starting eleven for today's game against Sierra Leone goes for youth and pace.

The former BCC Lions coach has gone for a 4-3-3 formation with a three-pronged strike force with Osaze Odemwingie at the tip supported by Ike Uche and Obinna Nsofor either side of the Lokomotiv Moscow forward.

In midfield, he has also gone for the unfamiliar, with Sani Kaita holding behind Chris Obodo on the right and Kalu Uche on the left.

It is only in defence that Amodu has stuck with the tried and trusted, apparently with an eye to maintaining his clean sheet record.

Joseph Yobo holds down the central defence alongside Danny Shittu, with Chidi Odiah and Taye Taiwo as full backs.

In goal, Dele Aiyenugba has beaten off competition from Austin Ejide to man the post.

It is a line-up that provides Amodu with different options, as he has pace aplenty, trickery in abundance and a good work ethic.
