Kenya: Njoro Villagers Threaten to Kill Straying Wildlife

Residents of Naishi location of Njoro district are up in arms over what they term as Kenya Wildlife Service ineptitude to block wildlife invading their farms.

Speaking at the weekend, during a meeting to discuss wildlife-human conflict, residents threatened to take matters into their hands and hunt down the animals who they say are endangering their lives and crops. They say that the animals cross over from the Lake Nakuru National Park destroy their crops and kill their livestock.
