Nobel Winner Mukwege Wants Accountability For Sexual Violence
Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Denis Mukwege is a Congolese gynaecologist and Pentecostal pastor. He founded and works in Panzi Hospital in Bukavu in DR Congo, where he specialises in the treatment of people who are victims of sexual violence. He shares the peace prize with Nadia Murad Basee Taha who is an Iraqi Yazidi-Kurdish human rights activist who is living in Germany.
