Eighteen Die in Latest Northern Mozambique Clashes
The clashes have reportedly left twelve insurgents, a member of the defence force and five civilians dead. The violence in Cabo Delgado is forcing scores of people from their homes, destroying villages and health centers, and making it difficult for families to recover in the aftermath of Cyclone Kenneth that hit the area in April 2019.
